A Day in Cologne

After miraculously passing my final January exam in France on the 4th of January 2016 (yes, the French education system is ruthless), I got a bit restless.

All of my friends still had exams for at least a week and I had nothing to do. So, I hit up my old friend Flixbus (this post is not sponsored, unfortunately) and hopped on a 5 hour bus to Cologne, or Köln as it’s known in German.

As I was travelling alone, all I can really remember about my visit to the German city is walking around, enjoying the sights and taking photos. So I don’t really have any stories to tell this time, just photos to share with you…

(Side note – travelling alone was extremely therapeutic and everyone should do it at least once in their lives)

Enjoy the snaps!

Catching a breather on step number 250 of 533…

View from the top of Kölner Dom (yes, I made it up the 533 steps)

An entire museum dedicated to chocolate? Yes please!

Have you ever travelled alone? What was your favourite thing about it? Let me know in the comments below!

Happy travels!
